The Ammonite peristaltic pump is designed to offer investigators an alternative to gravity/vacuum perfusion that eliminates optical, mechanical, and electrical artifacts. By utilizing positive displacement pump technology, liquid flows nearly pulse-free along ten stainless steel rollers. The Ammonite produces smoother flows with excellent accuracy and precision, even at high flow rates. The adjustable speed stepper motor and high-quality precision bore tubing assure reproducible flow rates. The Ammonite can move fluids at rates below 0.1 mL/min up to 33.0 ml/min depending on equipped tubing. The Ammonite pump radiates less than 500 fA of electrical noise while operating at full speed, so it will not interfere with highly sensitive data acquisition instrumentation.

Three pump head configurations are available with 2, 4, or 8 channels in both regular and high flow rates. Ranges of flow rate are controlled by selection of calibrated pump tubing. Sutter offers multiple diameters of tubing in either PVC or silicone rubber, allowing you to configure the pump for almost any biological application.

The Ammonite is easy to install, simple to operate, and easy to maintain. With an uncomplicated keypad control and easy-to-read LCD screen, access functions for start/stop, flow direction, increase/decrease flow rate, and prime. Remote control is also possible.
