In the effort to help our customers use
our products more effectively, Sutter Instrument Company has begun
developing software to interface with many of our computer controllable
products. Below is a list of currently available sofware for immediate
free download.
MP-285 SOFTWARE
Wintel
MP285.EXE - a stand alone program for use with our MP-285
micromanipulator. It allows for programming, movement and recording of
the MP-285. Windows 95 or later is required to run this program.

OLD285.BAS - a serial communications program written in Power BASIC
for controlling MP-285 manipulators with firmware versions up to v.
2.7. Power BASIC is required to compile the code (as is) but conversion
to other types of BASIC is fairly straightforward. > Download
OLD285.EXE - the compiled, executable version of old285.bas for use
on wintel platforms. > Download
NEW285.BAS - an update of old285.bas for use with firmware versions
3.0 or newer. This program will run with older controllers but the axis
speed is now specified differently and several new features are
addressed that do not exist in firmware versions prior to 3.0.

NEW285.EXE - the compiled, executable version of new285.bas for use
on wintel platforms. > Download
CONVERT.BAS - written to convert statements captured during
new285.exe sessions to a format suitable for downloading to the MP-285
controller. The language is Power BASIC and the platform is Wintel.

Unix
285TEMPLATE.C - a simple c program for controlling the MP-285
manipulator. It was written on an SGI Indy, and should compile under
most forms of unix. > Download
UNIX285.C - a communications program developed on an SGI Indy under
Irix v. 5.3 for controlling the MP-285 manipulator via serial port.

285LV_6.EXE - a self extracting zipped labview 6.0 driver for our

MPC-200 SOFTWARE
The MPC-200 controller is used for the MPC-385, MPC-325 and other manipulator systems.
It is equipped with a USB interface that is currently under development. Those who wish
to try out its functionality must install the USB driver for the MPC-200.

LAMBDA SOFTWARE (Windows)
LAMBDA.EXE - a stand alone controller program for use with our
Lambda 10, Lambda 10-2, Lambda 10-C and Lambda DG-4 products. This
version will work with Win95, Win2000 and XP. The file is a self
extracting archive. > Download
DG4-LV.ZIP - a zip file containing four files which enable Labview
software to work with our DG-4 wavelength switcher. >

LAMBDA 10-3 AND LAMBDA 10-B - Demo test programs are available for both
serial (RS-232) and USB interfaces, for both products, as well as the
latest USB device drivers.
